Sensei Shane Alvisio
National Participation Manager for Judo Australia
Owner of Kugatsu Judo Club on the Central Coast of NSW
Kugatsu currently has 130 members and was established in 1967.
Shane was a member of the Australian Judo Team between 1983-1994, competing at A-League tournaments in Europe, 3 x University Worlds, Shoriki Cup & Pac Rim. Shane is a 10 time medallist at Australian Nationals and Oceania Championships.
Shane's role with JA for the past two years is to host Coach Accreditation Courses and to work with 180 local clubs around Australia to engage with JA programs and opportunities.
